Dina is a native of Forest Hills Queens and raised in the Queens area. She moved to Dix Hills Long Island before the close of her senior year in high school. Her siblings include one of whom is older, named Gregory and a younger one named Evan. She began her career in entertainment when she was 9 years old, and began modeling. She began her training in acting at The Neighborhood Playhouse in New York and studied Sanford Meisner's acting techniques, in conjunction with Ron Stetson, for about three years. Sandra Bullock has received the identical training that was given to Jeff Goldblum and Leslie Nielsen. Her first performance came from Beverly Hills 90210. This meant she had to move out into Los Angeles. After that, she was the role of the main character in the film Johnny Mnemonic, in which she performed the majority of her own stunts and established herself as an athletic actress. Alongside Matt LeBlanc's agency for talent and agent, she was also involved in a range of roles that recurred in the show Friends.
